69 saddle interior correct kick panel color

Guys,

I'm installing my 69 saddle interior and I want to paint the kick panels. I have some saddle interior paint from corvette america but I can't really tell if that was the original color of the kick panels because they are so faded after 50 years. Can anyone tell me what the original color is for the kick panels for a 69 saddle interior car? Thanks for your help.

Mike,

The kick panels are color matched to the interior. The TIM&JG (5th ed.) doesn't mention that fact in the text but does have a pic on page 25 of a color matched panel in what appears to be a 420 or 421 (S) interior.

The back side, though more thinly painted, should have faded very little and be representative of the original color.
