Expansion Tank and Radiator Inspection Decals for 67 Small Block
Can someone tell me what is correct for expansion tank and radiator inspection decals for a 67 small block? I have the latest NCRS 1967 Tech Information and Judging Manual (7th edition) and it states:
"Small Block and L88 models have a foil Harrison radiator label attached to the top right of all aluminum radiators. A small Harrison inspection sticker using up to 2 green numbers on a clear background is attached to the top surface of the radiator as well as on the expansion tank. All Small Block radiators have a "16 CT" inspection stamp in white paint on the top left side."
My 67 Small Block (Survivor and Duntov car) has all of the described markings and decals, except the expansion tank is missing the inspection decal. However, it does have a small rectangle of adhesive where the decal once was (unfortunately it has dislodged and fallen off).
The radiator has a green "8" decal and and I want to replace the one on the expansion tank IF it is correct to do so, but I don't know what number should be there and where is the correct location.
