Are 57 gas pedals unique or are 52-62 gas pedals the same. Where is the best place to get a correct 57 gas pedal new or used?

joe: i believe the 56-7 pedals pivot on a metal hinge, whereas the 61-2 , and probably the 58-60, pivot on a pair of ball studs.the 53-55 may be the same as 56-7. seems to me i got the repos from corvette central. no deductions. mike
