Exhaust issues on C2

Need some advise on under car exhaust for my 65. Stock motor is out of the car right now and I have a healthy motor in it and have never been happy with any exhaust system I've used so far. Started with factory GM mufflers then aftermarket off-road mufflers then moved to side exhaust and all of them sounded restrictive and clogged so I made some 3" pipes with minimal baffles that fit behind the factory side exhaust covers and it sound great, loud and very low restriction. Problem is I've had it with the noise, a 30 min ride is all I can enjoy so I am looking at a new system that has come out by one of the major muffler manufacturers called force 2. It looks to be well made and designed with a nice X pipe that should help flow and sound. Has anyone installed this on a car with a fairly healthy motor and how does it sound?

Flowmaster makes rear pipes with a crossover that's supposed to be bolt on for C2:

Or maybe a stock system with Flowmaster or Magnaflow mufflers.

I haven't tried any of these, but if you do let us know your experience.
