Holley 4160 primary fuel bowl replacement

I think fuel maybe leaking past the O rings in my fuel bowls causing flooding. When I pulled the bowls and removed the needle and seat assemblies, I notice some pitting in the area when the O ring would normally create a seal.
I can find a new replacement bowl for the secondary side with an external adjustable float capability, but when I try to find one on line for the primary side I can only find a bowl for a marine application that does not have the external adjustable float capability.
Has anybody used this style of bowl successfully which would not be the original design?
I'm concerned that if I buy a used bowl on line it will likely have the pitting inside where the O ring seals so I would have bought basically a junk unit.

Feedback on my post would be greatly appriciated.

What you describe is exactly what you may very well experience with a used carburetor part. I'd want to use a NEW float bowl, exactly correct, or not. I'd contact Holley about a new fuel bowl. Holley does reproduce these carburetors so the parts must be available.

I had a conversation by phone this afternoon with Holley tech support and based on what I was told the original style fuel bowl I need #34R-4424-B that a stock Corvette steel fuel line treads into is no longer available. The only bowl We discussed that they can provide is actually for a marine application and does not have external float adjustment capability and I don’t believe it is vented. They show only this style bowl on line that would fit my OEM carb that stock hard line would thread into.

This must be a case of Holley manufacturing the parts but not selling them separately from the reproduction carbs. Holley reproduces the following 4160 models: 3367, 3370, 3810, and 3811.
