    Has anyone used "Holleys Custom Speed Shop" for carb rebuilding

    I need to get my 67 tri power carbs rebuilt, someone suggested to use Holley themselves? Has anyone used them, supposedly a lot of the advertised rebuilders send carbs to them? I want them to have the original factory look, not over restored with a lot of gold painting.

    Can anyone give me an answer, you can pm me private if there is any conflict

          I used them for my '66. They did a very nice job and it has judged just fine. They will restore it to factory specs, so if your engine is modified in any way and doesn't make the same vacuum, that may be an issue. Just be cognizant of that. They track your carbs from beginning to end and it will be assigned to a specific tech. My only caveat is that I would be clear about any parts you want to remain the same or changed. For example the chamfered heads on the bowl screws or the slotted butterfly screws. They just don't think like us NCRS folk. If you need anything changed they do source parts from Daytona Parts, which a lot of guys use for carb parts.

                      No experience with your suggested restorer but I had VERY nice results with Jerry Macneish on my 1972 LT-1 - Jerry MacNeish’s Camaro Hi-Performance, Inc.

                          I agree. Holley is a good option for a non-OEM/Numbers rebuild. Plating is dark and hardware won't be assembly line. That was my experience years ago as well.

                              HE JUST DID A SET OF 435 CARBS FOR A CUSTOMER OF MINE ( GO TO HIS FACEBOOK PAGE AND YOU CAN SEE THEM RUNNING ON HIS TEST MOTOR ) THEY LOOK GREAT !
