Retainers, Pins and Washers for Muncie Shift Linkage

After the 3/4 gear shift rod popped out from the transmission's forward lever on the highway (luckily, I was able to drive home in second gear), I'm figuring out the fasteners used on Muncie linkage.

UPC 7, sheet B3 of the 1970 AIM shows:

    - 120394 "P. Washer" on the 3/4 shift rod's forward swivel. Is this something unique, or a common flat washer?

    - 3749084 "Retainer" goes on top of the 120394 P. Washer. Is this is what some call a G-clip (photo)?

    - 3709558 "Spring Washer" on the 1/2 shift rod's forward pin. Is this a thin, wavy washer? Or a common lock washer? I believe its purpose is to create a load/tension between the shift rod's pin and the transmission's shift lever.

    - 103373 "C. Pin" goes on top of the 3709558 Spring Washer, attaching the 1/2 shift rod's pin to its lever. Is this a common cotter pin? If yes, just use the largest size that fits?

    Thanks folks.

GM #102394 is a plain washer. This means a standard flat washer without plated or phosphate finish. It's 13/32" ID, 13/16" OD, and 0.07" thick.

GM #3749084 is the special retainer sometimes called a "G" clip. It was replaced by GM #15553615, a virtually identical retainer which is now also discontinued. Very easy to find either one.

GM #3709568 (not 558)-----This is a single wave spring washer. Never available from GM in SERVICE but easily available at hardware and auto parts stores

GM #103373-----this is a standard plain cotter pin with no plated finish (as were almost all cotter pins used on a Corvette chassis). It's 3/32" OD and 7/8" in length.
