    1963 Shock Labels

The 6th edition Judging Guide is silent on the proper letters for shock labels. Anyone know what is correct.?

I don't think 63's had labels on the shocks.

      Bob,
The JG says there are labels but does not give the codes.

If I read the chart correctly line 23 and 24 were for non-Z06 cars. Line 24 says plain, I can't read line 23. Looks like the Z06 shocks were gray and labeled EN front and EP rear.

Looks like there were no labels on the standard shocks..

            Anyone have better eye's

Doesn't the AIM refer to the ZO6 shocks as being ID'ed by a blue paint daub?

If this was a better copy of a copy it reads

                    3171488 Front Shock 63-69 ZO7/F40/F41 Gray daub/EN note 7 Label first appeared 1965

                    3171489 Rear Shock 63-69 ZO7/F40/F41 Blue daup/EP note 2,3,7 2 is new fluid 3 is no dust tube 7 label 1965

If any one needs a better copy email me it appears a email copy is much clearer. At oslansky@fuse.net
