C2 power steering system fluid capacity

... dry system with rebuilt hydraulics & hoses; how much fluid should I expect to input to total capacity once warm up, bleeding & the like is complete? AIM says 285 gal/1000 jobs, or perhaps 1.15 quarts. Seems high, but I can't find any capacity specs in any other GM manual/document.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff
