I was just looking at center emblem for 1966 hubcaps. There are two listed. Each has a different upper corner flag color. One is a white square, the other is a black square. This, at face value, seems to be very similar to the two crossed flag variants found on the 66 fuel filler door/lid. Could someone enlighten me as to what is what with the hubcap emblems? Thanks very much.

Re: 1966 Corvette Hubcap center emblem
I have 8 66 hubcaps. Four on my car and four I bought on eBay over 10 years ago. They all have black in the upper left. I can’t guarantee any are original. I also do not have the most recent 66 TIM/JG. Have you looked at that?

Re: 1966 Corvette Hubcap center emblem
Michael,....the informational answers you seek, are all within the current 1966 NCRS TIM & JG. See the Exterior section 21, Wheels & Wheel Covers, page 83, wherein it states that the center emblem, checkered flag portion, upper corner can be "EITHER" black or white. You should really obtain the manual as it is a world of information. Have FUN!!- Top
