Does anyone have a clearer version of Page M40, A8 from the '69 AIM showing the date that item #6 (Transmission Control Switch) was redrawn and redesigned? Can anyone with a '68 AIM check the same page and tell me what the number for that part is? The date on my version is unreadable. The part number in the AIM, 1233031, does not match with the number in the 1983 parts catalog for 1968-1969. I know that this part is different from '70 up switches in that the mounting bracket is metal and not slotted whereas earlier '69 switches have a slotted mounting bracket. The later one, however, will fit and operate properly. Any help is appreciated.

1993424 in the 68 AIM. Lots of changes to the mounting bracket, but the no changes to the switch.

I also looked at both of my 69 AIM's, one is unreadable and other is missing page 7-8.
