    1968 jack handle

I have mid june assembled 68 and just purchased an original jack with an April date.

It has no handle and in researching I see 2 distinct lug head contours on various handles. One shape has an even widening from handle to lug head while another has a noticable ridge...which is correct?

Also I see reference to 3 holes? Anyone have photo?

    Re: 1968 jack handle

I have what I believe is the original jack and handle from my July build 68. The wrench end is even widening. Bell shape if you will. The jack is marked 8G. I assume that’s the date code, but I never looked before this. According to the new TIM and JG this jack is correct for my 68.

My handle has three holes. One on each side (round) and one on top (oval)

i can’t post pictures here but if you email me with your address I’ll send you some. Richgj3 at aol dot com

Perhaps the ridge you notice is the rubber collar around the lug end of the wrench.
I have pictures which I can email but I can’t post here.
Odd that the TIM JG doesn’t talk about the handle. At least I couldn’t find it.
