NCRS Illinois Chapter has a presence (booth)...I'm here now with Carlton Colclough on an exploratory mission and most of the Corvette judges are NCRS members, it will be our recommendation to the board that the NCRS store and the Chevelle/Nova/Camaro chevymuscledocs.com have a presence also. There are over 600 quality cars here, and they expect 30,000 over the 2 days. It is an outstanding show with quality cars from all over the country. So hopefully moving forward, we will have a presence here. I've had at least a half dozen members and also some of our Driveline commercial advertisers tell me that we need to be here in force and ask why there is no NCRS store here.

Thanks for that info Vinnie, I have thought about going in the past, but had heard that since it switched from Vettefest Nationals (Gold Spinner Award) a few years ago, the Corvettes were not as many or as good as before.

This is a must attend show if you like cars. The amount of rare and historical muscle cars is amazing.

Took my 65 Coupe out there to try and win triple crown award back in 2006 - was a great show only down side was a lack of Corvettes. I won Triple Crown out there was a great trip back to Jersey in spite of strong rains which had my daughter and I stay overnight when flights were canceled thank god I had the car towed both ways in enclosed trailer. I would think it is still a great show with more vettes involved

Ed, a lot has changed in 11 years. The show is at a new venue close to O'Hare and multiple hotels where you don't even need to go outside to get to the convention center. There were many, many Corvettes as well as every make and model of muscle cars. Over 600 in attendance and plenty to see and do for any car guy. Just Awesome!

I would also echo what others have said. This was the first year I attended. There was a very healthy Corvette showing. Lots of cars ('vette or not) that you just won't see very many other places.

He still is. Bill lines up the judges for the show. The show is a must see event. My only gripe is that the Corvettes are not displayed in a prominent area of the show, especially the C3s C4s as they were behind a semi. I would be a much more impressive display if they were all displayed together.
