Appreciate if someone could confirm (or remember) if the original spark plug wire sets were resistor wire sets. My C2 is a 327 cu 340HP car). The original plugs were AC44 non-resistive as what I remember and what is see is various catalogs.

Packard TVRS resistor wires were used for most C2 cars. These had a carbon/graphite core. Exceptions probably L88 and perhaps a few other specialized applications.
Solid core wire (like Packard 440 wire) was not used by the factory on these C2 cars.

I agree.
By the way, I should have mentioned, resistor spark plugs began for the 1969 model year. However, carbon core ignition wires go back to the vast majority of Corvette applications right back to the days of 6 cylinders.
