    No, that's not correct. The flat spacer plates didn't come into existence until 1975. If the spring on your '67 has a flat spacer, it is not the original spring. But it could be a GM service replacement spring purchased between 1975 and 1999.

      I understand I was just wondering about that top spacer if it was factory or not , it not off my 67 it,s a friend that pull off his spring and notice the small spacer on top and was asking if it was factory, now i can explain to him it a replacment spring assembly, thank you Gary
