I looked in the wheel opening and the frame was completely rust away even the rims were rusted. I couldn't see through the windows to see the interior.
10K was reported by member on the Corvette Forum. Expensive chica corvette. Said they couldn't look under the hood because the owner didn't want to disturb the foliage.

To make it economically viable you likely need a parts car with some good parts and rechromeable items. I don't know that the subject car here has much to contribute other than the V.I.N. plate and title. I think the new owner will likely have more in the repairs of the body to get it to the condition of the new body as delivered. The front clip will run $1400. plus expensive crating and shipping not to mention the bonding strips if you are going for an original look underneath. Then the labor to install/finish and additional time to finish/repair other parts of the body not shown in the picture that I am sure require some serious attention.

I spoke with the seller who had a photo album of the car, including pics of it sitting in the woods. The front of the car is pretty soft and I agree with Darryl, there isn't much to salvage other than the VIN and the paperwprk. As with any swap meet, one man's trash is another man's treasure. It was interesting though.
20 years ago i sold a 73 with a rotten frame i asked the guy if he knew what he was getting into he said yes he was going fully restore the car. 6 mos. later i see the car and it was spectacular. and no way it was the car i sold him.
