On page 61 and 184 of the new 70-72 judging guide there are pictures of the wiring and vacuum hose routing of a 70 model on the left side inner fender. The pictures show a harness retainer mounted lower on the inner fender than the other retainers toward the front of the car. However, on page 169, a similar picture of another 70 (different car) shows no harness retainer. Which is correct?

Fig. E 7.5 and Ch 2.6 are actually from a 1971. My mistake, I'll correct it in the morning so the next edition will be correct. It is the same picture, duplicated so you don't have to look back in the manual.
Figure M 25.5 on page 19 is from S/N 14544 1970.
So, the short answer to your question is Fig. M 25.5.
