Does anyone know who carries the correct color for the 1965 Dash and console paint? They all seem to be to light. The Original interiors had the dash 1 color, seats another, door panels another and carpet another color. Nothing matched.

Re: 1965 Tan Dash paint
The correct paint is darker around the clock and radio. Most restored cars are painted all the same lighter tan dash. Hopefully this original dash photo will help. Tom should know, and so should John Ballard.

Re: 1965 Tan Dash paint
There are at least 4 "correct" colours -- all simultaneously when you consider painted surfaces plus vinyls/leathers.. Here's my first car; May 1968, 32,000 miles. The (refinish) PAINT charts show two shades. Two medium saddles; one 60 gloss, the other3 gloss. Then dark saddle 3 gloss.Last edited by Wayne M.; June 22, 2017, 09:46 AM.- Top
