correct appearance of C1 convertible top stainless arrows, end beads, finishing tips

Does anyone know the correct appearance of the C1 convertible top stainless steel trim pieces that goes outside of the soft top on the #4 bow? I've heard them referred to as

arrows
end bead trim
end caps

I've seen them blunt, sharp with an edge and without an edge... If they changed over the years that would be good to know, but I have a 59 specifically.

I do not have an answer but this will bounce it back to the top. Have you tried calling Al Knoch or Coffman's Corvettes? Both have been doing tops for quite awhile. Another source would be the National Judging team leader, found on the inside cover of the Restorer. Does the Judging Manual say anything?

Ian, my '57 top material was damaged and replaced early in its life and I'm assuming the tips were reused. That said, for what it's worth they look like the left one in your first picture, like originals in second picture and like Dr Rebuild's. I don't know if they changed over the years. Hope this helps a little.

I have that guide. Couldn't find it. I'll look again. The look of Doc Rebuild's is what appears in Rich Mozzetta & Rich Zuberer's soft top restore doc.
