    1. I need the storage box that goes above the jack...I see repops and originals on Epay...how good it the repop? Most originals, even if in good condition, are cracked around top edges. I plan on flight judging in future so dont want to get a repop if will result in a point deduction.

    2. What is typical date coding on original AG matching rims? One guy on Epay has a set of four with identical dates (all 2-1) but I am sure all original sets are not identical...another set is 2 of one date and 2 another date 20 days apart. (4-23 and 5-13) I assume within 6 months to build date (my car mid June 68) is acceptable but I like the April and May set...want full judging points if I am going to get a proper set.
NCRS does not judge the dates on the rims of the road wheels. With wheel covers or trim rings on the wheel dates are not discernable. We only judge the wheel date on the spare. No wheel cover or trim ring is on the spare.

All that said you may still wish to have appropriately dated wheels for your own satisfaction. My experience is that usually all five wheels on the car are dated the same, but manufacturing and shipping what it was that may not always be the case.

      Greg,
Knowing the '68 wheels are getting harder to find. I have an extra set of 4 '68 wheels (cleaned and painted) not know off hand the dates. PM me if interested and I get dates off them.

OK, my car was assembled 2nd week in June 68.

My center carb has part # 3940929-EV, under that LIST 4055-1 under that 852. (May 2 or 2nd week 68?) That appears correct.

The front and rear carbs are the same:LIST-3659, under that 0765. I believe LIST is correct...but no part number and 4 digit date? What are they?

        Gregory-----

"0765" is the date. It decodes to the 76th day of 1975. So, these must have been SERVICE carbs, probably source directly through Holley.
