Original vs. repop french exhaust locks

Guys,

My original french locks that came on the car had a small C stamped in them, but the replacement ones I got from one of the vendors have a B stamped in them and its a different font and size. Some of the originals were rusty so the C is not visible on all of them, only 2/4. Does the marking on these locks matter for judging? Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure if the letters will matter (or if they are even visible when installed), but the squared off ear tabs will.
