    What are these clips for???

    Guys,

I found these clips in the bag with the original timing cover bolts for my 69 350/350. I'm guessing they go under a couple of the timing cover bolts but no idea where and what they hold. Maybe fuel lines??? I looked in the AIM but it doesn't seem to show anything bolted to the timing cover. Appreciate any insights you may have.

Tried attaching these photos but my shop computer is acting screwy. If they can't be viewed I may have to add them when I get to the office tomorrow. I'm asking now because they have orange paint on them so they were on the engine when it was painted. Just not sure where.

So were they in the engine when painted? Mine have engine paint on them.

No there are no spark plug wires inside the engine. Attached with the pan bolt at the bottom of the spark plug ignition shield V

Please attach the photo(s), but the clips Russ is talking about were on the engine when it was painted. There was a recent thread that enumerated which oil pan bolts they were attached to, but you are on your own to find that thread since I am not even sure you and I are talking about the same clips.
