    Question: 67 4Speed Clutch Rod / anti-rattle springs

The lower spring on my rod is missing. I ordered a new pair from LIC. My question is how is the lower spring connected to clutch fork or arm?

I looked at the AIM and have been under the car but was unable to find the connection.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Attach to the clutch fork by hooking to the pin. The bellcrank has a hole in it near the other end of the rod.

I did this, literally, one hour ago. The front spring on mine had broken. Hope these pics help.

The end of the spring goes into a slot in the clutch fork.

That notch is the correct spot. It is there for that purpose.

              Jim and Mike:

You are both right. Don't know where I got that picture from, but I just looked at mine, and it is in the slot.
