I have an early 1963 #859 with a BW trans. My problem is 2nd binds up and 4th the shifter is almost laying flat when in gear. I have tried 2 sets of linkage BW and Muncie and I rebuilt the new shifter. Any guidance or info would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. Denny

Re: 1963 shifter and linkage
Denny, The linkage adjustment for 63 is VERY sensitive when adjusting,, the best way I find to adjust linkage is unhook arms and rods and install the block on top of shifter and one at a time get the adjustment perfect. the Muncie linkage is totally different I Really did not think it would even work. if all fails, the only other thing I can think is you have a internal problem with the T10. syncro.'s are a common issue. I do believe you will find the throw in 3rd&4th longer than 1st &2nd.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top
