    1963 shifter and linkage

I have an early 1963 #859 with a BW trans. My problem is 2nd binds up and 4th the shifter is almost laying flat when in gear. I have tried 2 sets of linkage BW and Muncie and I rebuilt the new shifter. Any guidance or info would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. Denny

Denny, The linkage adjustment for 63 is VERY sensitive when adjusting,, the best way I find to adjust linkage is unhook arms and rods and install the block on top of shifter and one at a time get the adjustment perfect. the Muncie linkage is totally different I Really did not think it would even work. if all fails, the only other thing I can think is you have a internal problem with the T10. syncro.'s are a common issue. I do believe you will find the throw in 3rd&4th longer than 1st &2nd.
