    1970 Wiper motor rebuild

    Anyone know of a good source to have my original 1970 wiper motor rebuilt. I have heard some mention wiper works?? I am in the process of doing a full nut and bolt restoration to NCRS standards. Best, John.

      Unfortunately, Danny Tate, the owner/operator of WiperWorks (www.wiperworks.us), passed away a few months ago.

                                  Hate to burst you guys bubble but all the above wiper restorations were done by Steve Hackel out of Illinois! He is the best in the business.

                                                      Sorry but you are wrong - Steve Hack at Eastern Corvettes does his restorations in house. I've seen wiper motors and headlight motors on Steve's work bench under restoration. He and Steve Hackell are friends and even use different cadmium plating companies. Steve Hack has logged over 1200 motors and didn't keep track back when he first started so he is probably over 2500 motors restored.
                                                      You really need to have your facts straight when discussing someone's business.

                                                          Steve Hackel in Chicago did mine. Its sooo sooo nice. Recently showed it at our monthly NCRA breakfast meeting.
