1965 headliner change in new Judging Guide?

Regarding the headliner for both coupes and auxiliary hardtops, the 5th edition of the 1965 Judging Guide states- "The headliner material is a crosshatched patterned fiberboard material". We all know this is correct.

The 6th edition states the same material for coupes but for hardtops, it states -"the headliner in the hardtop is a foam padded smooth vinyl material....".

Why was the latest edition changed to reflect incorrect information?

Jim, I just picked up a used hardtop for my 63, and is was a dated 10-64 and it appears that its a all original top including head liner, and the headliner is of the 5th gen. type description with crosshatched fiberboard and foam padded underside. maybe there was a change over at some point, I am sure someone like Casey S. Team leader can put you in the right directional.

I own/owned both a late 65 coupe and a late 65 conv. w/hardtop. Both are low mile original cars and both have the same crosshatched fiberboard headliner. The revision in the 6th edition is wrong. I was simply wondering why the change.
