1966 427/390 location oil pressure port on block

I didnt have the luxury of seeing the engine together when i started my 427/ 66 project the block was behind the seats. So im not positive where the port is on the block for thenew oil pressure gauge tube. The rebuild machine shop plugged every hole fin the block. I am guessing it is somewhere on the left side of the block above the oil filter. Is that correct?

Not sure if there is a difference but on my 68 390hp it is indeed above the oil filter on the left side. I believe actual configuration depends on whether or not it is a 2 or a 4 bolt main block but regardless is in the same basic location. Doug
