Guys: I just went to an impromptu party with the Bride and drove home afterwards in the dark. Great time and the Vette was a champ, yet, the dash board lights were out despite my manipulation of the switch. Is it a simple fuse issue or something else? Any guidance appreciated. Have a great weekend. Best, Ned

I would start simple - check the fuses and see what else is on that circuit. The switch is obviously another possibility but I can't tell you how to check it simply. Good luck, Don H.- Top

Ed:
The suggestions by the other folks are excellent and you should check each of them for sure. I would add that the rheostat (in the switch) that controls the dimming of the panel lights sometimes gets corroded. Either the spring and / or the tab can get a build up of rust and / or dirt over the years and cause the panel lamps to not dim or brighten properly or in severe cases to not work at all. See the photo below..... the spring should be clean and shinny as in the photo and the contact area on the under side of the tab contact should be clean and rust free as well.
Hope this helps a bit.

Re: Can't See My Baby By The Dash Board Lights (1966 C2)
Guys: Any guidance on where I can purchase a correct fuse (3AG/AGC 4 amp) for the dash lights would be much obliged. Again, thanks for the supurb guidance. NCRS fellowship is the best. Regards, Ned- Top

If you're talking factory correct with markings and all, Paragon or LIC will have them. A serviceable replacement is available at any parts store closest to you.Leif
