    71 Fuel Overflow Tube Routing

Can someone please confirm the routing of the fuel overflow tube. It looks like it is on the passenger side going down through the rear valance panel and to the bottom of the bumperette. It looks very tight trying to get it into the bumperette and to the bottom.

    Thanks
    Sheldon

    Hi Sheldon,
Here's the overflow hose from my mid-January built 71.
The hose is routed to the rear of the rear cross-member and held to the bumper brace rod with 2 short plastic ties.
Note the hose stays inside the rear valance panel on this car. I don't know how typical this might have been.
    Regards,
    Alan

The overflow hose has been seen both ways 1 as Alan Photo indicates and also has been seen feed into the vertical section of the rear bumper. The 2 black hose straps are seen consistently on all years 70-72.
