    63 Expansion Tank Hose Length

Replacing the heater hoses, clamps, and correcting the hose routing on my non-AC 63. Is there a reccomended length for the short hose that connects from the tee to the expansion tank?

Two inches or less, short as possible to keep hoses clear of the exhaust manifolds. The tee should be angled 45 degrees up at the rear to clear battery retainer bolt and wing nut. See AIM for details.

Drove the 64 over 5000 miles to three Regionals and the San Jose National, one dust storm and 40 lbs of bugs!
