Pat Ikerd

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart to report the passing of Pat Ikerd of Bedford, Imdiana. Pat has been in the Corvette Parts and Restoration business since the early 70's. Many of the NCRS members have used his services for years. Pat had open heart surgery earlier in the week to replace a mitral valve and bypass several arteries and succumb to complications. May Pat rest in peace with many of our old friends.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I recall seeing big, burly Pat at many Corvette shows over the years. Pat was a great source for used and rebuilt driveline and chassis parts and had quite an inventory of these pieces.

I talked to Pat a few days before he had surgery. He sounded weak & out of breath but seemed upbeat about it. His good friend Scott called me Sunday with the bad news. He made is 2 days after the surgery but just got worse. He & Judy stayed at my house for the ACD auction as we had swap spots together. He was a great friend for 40 years & I will miss him. RIP OLD FRIEND.

Pat's passing scares the dickens out of me. I'm going for heart work early in June and can't help but wonder where he went for his. I go to Cleveland Clinic which is close by to Indiana and I see a lot of Hoosiers there.
