Had a really great time at Crystal River getting my California 5/88 35th Anniversary judged. The 87-98 judging guide states that the emissions label for a 1988 should be CNK. Mine is CMN. There isn't any indication that this car has ever been in an accident and all the front end metal seems original. Is the CMN incorrect for this car being mindful of it being a car sold in CA?
'88 Emissions Label is CNM

Re: '88 Emissions Label is CNM
John------
I have little doubt this label is original to the car. However, I'll try to confirm. What is the GM part number on the label? It should be an 8 digit number in small font size, probably at the bottom of the label. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: '88 Emissions Label is CNM
John-------
GM #10079621 is uniquely applicable to 1988 Corvettes with California emissions and carries code "CNM".
Code "CNK" is applicable to Federal emissions-certified 1988 Corvettes and is GM #10079619.
These labels were actually once available in SERVICE but are no more.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
