    Two Bar Knock-off Wheels

Does anyone have any pictures of the debt and backside of a two bar knock-off? I am trying to identify a set here locally. Were they made by Kelsey Hayes? What production car were they supposed to be put on?

    Thanks,

    James West

Why not start with a picture of what you're trying to ID, front & back? K-H did make such a wheel, most likely with a "gear drive" method of attachment and then in limited #s because of porosity and patent infringement. Some statistics indicate that possibly 13 sets were delivered on '63 Corvettes before porosity/court dates interfered. One of the results was the two bar knockoff wire wheel option for the Corvair as supplied by the
Dayton wheel company. Turned out that this Corvair spinner also worked on the later "pin drive" adaptors ultimately used by Chevrolet for the Corvette. KO wheels were also made by Western Wheel, Kustom House, and the list goes on. Pictures please.
