Re: 67 washer reservoir font
Agree with Dan. There is a "C" on the bottom. The one on the right in the picture above has the correct fonts. The letter P is very different in the 2 reservoirs pictured. All the original's from GM junk yard cars that I have are like the one on the right.- Top

Re: 67 washer reservoir font
Randy, I looked at my 63's original and it has a C on the bottom, I truly think the judge would be hard pressed to tell the ones you have pictured as the both look yellowed. the font in the pic.s look slightly different, but unless you have the correct one and the repo side by side you will not likely know. Another thing I find with my 63 is the cap on the top you can see through the cap when held up to the light , Not sure if its the same on 67. Although it appears black when looking at it.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: 67 washer reservoir font
I have four reservoirs gathered from GM vehicles over time. I don't see anything on the bottom. I will check the sides. One of the bottles had a small round mark that looked like a casting mark.
Thank you all for the replies.

Re: 67 washer reservoir font
Gentlemen,
It seems that this item is found in all GM cars of the era. It also seems that everyone is hung up on the color of these bottles and wants it to be a yellowish brown or it's not correct.
When the bottle was new and delivered to your GM dealer it was white and with heat, age, and oil it has become yellow/brown with that age.
Are you going to leave your paint as it has aged over these years???? I think not!!!!! How about your chrome, seats and rear windows on a convertible?? Are you going to leave them aged or restore them to new.
Well why are you busting your butts to find a old yellowed/brown washer bottle??????
That was not the way it was delivered and as I recall (as delivered from the showroom floor) is the way Corvettes are being judged by the NCRS!!!!!
Just a thought!!!!

Re: 67 washer reservoir font
The reservoir to the right in your picture is what you are looking for.
Here is a picture of the "C" logo others have mentioned:

Also, the font of the reproduction washer reservoir is close to the original, but the neck is @.125" shorter than originals (making the lid almost touch the surrounding top area of the reservoir when installed) and the inside of the opening is rough with a very inconsistent thickness
