1964 hood weather strip

The JM states the hood weather strip should wrap around to approximately even with the hood latch pin, but there is a photo showing it stopping before the bend. Which is correct?

Greg, The photo in the JM is correct it ends at the hoods edge and does not make the bend. use a little extra glue beyond the W/S.

Thanks guys! The answers came fast enough that I was able to go pick up the yellow adhesive in the meantime! Wow!!
