1963 FI right exhaust manifold

Have a 63-360HP and the right exhaust manifold has a hole in the top for the heat tube but no tube or hole in the bottom for the tube. Top hole is not as large as I am used to seeing. Is this possible? Thanks in advance

Jerry - It sounds like your manifold is for a 340hp motor if it is 2.5" . The 360hp manifold should be flat at the spot where the heat tube would be. Dan

Jerry, Sounds like someone didn't have a clue what he was doing on his carburetor car. As you know the choke works on hot air and not exhaust gas/soot.
Also sounds like someone took an original 360 HP manifold and drilled a hole in the top. Get it welded up and textured. John

Previous owner thought he could turbocharge things by feeding a little exhaust gas back into the carb...
