I agree with Steve, all the fakes seem to muddy up the waters. They are out there and people know where they are and who owns them. Owner history sure does help.

Like I said, I'm no expert but if the tool John showed above was used (and it was) it would be impossible to stamp an engine pad that far to the rear of the block. Sooooooooooooooooooo! Neither of the blocks shown could possibly be original.

But then again that is one idiots opinion! Mine!

How do you know how far back from the tab the stamps are? If you don't know for sure it's best not to say anything at all.
