The rear rotors have been machined inside for the emergency brake shoes to contact and maybe hold your C-2--Maybe!

The offset from the spindle/hub face to the rotor surface is different.

Rear rotors have an extra hole for access to the p/brake adjustment.

Yes thank you for the help that makes sense. My car was partially disassembled in the mid 70s doping out all the nuances are challenging at times

One other thing: front rotors were never available from GM except as an assembly with a riveted-on hub. They were (and remain) available from AC-Delco, though, as rotors only. These are not OEM-quality rotors, but aftermarket quality.
