I'm curious about the correct mounting for a '54 ignition condenser, which is fastened to the outside housing of the distributor. The casting has two threaded holes, and I'm wondering if the original/correct condenser used two screws to fasten it to the housing. Also, what type of screws were correct, and is the condenser clip fastened to the condenser or is it a separate piece. I have some old Delco condensers with cloth covered wires that have the clip welded or soldered to the condenser body, but they only have one mounting hole.

Here's some photos that might help. I'd been trying to upload a few days ago and was finally able to get them posted.
