'62 Fuelie and '67 350 a/c Deals Too Good to be True?

    Hi all,

Take a look at this website: http://brockmanautosales.com/?page_id=185. They had a '62 Fuelie, which they say is now sold, for $36,900 and have a '67 350 HP air coupe for $36,000, which is supposedly still for sale. The pics of the coupe show it somewhere where all the trees have lost all their leaves, but the '62 cavorts amidst palm trees.

Does this look real? I called and left a message and didn't get a return call, but I'd sure like to get that '67 for $36K and put it in the Driveline at $72K!

    What do you think?

That price is suspiciously low but if you google that dealer they appear to be legitimate and located in South Carolina. If that 67 is what it appears to be it's way under the money. I wonder if they deal in flood cars or cars with rebuilt titles. There's also a nice 66 convertible listed with no price. Your inquiry is certainly worth the time. You never know, but if it seems way to good to be true, it usually is.

When you're driving down the road, you do not have to be close to a skunk to smell it.

I agree, if it sounds too good to be true...

Interesting story. It's terrible a car dealer is treating a reverend like that.

And you just don't often hear about a reverend trading in their pick up for a Hummer.

There was a car dealer around here that was selling people cars but stalling giving them the title. The Massachusetts Attorney General had to get involved.

Does anyone here remember a time when you almost could not give away a 57 for $700-800?
                    And NOOOOOOBODY wanted FI.

                      I'm under 80, so I don't remember that.
