temp kicks in lower makes fan roar, i have used aftermarket rebuilds for my other chevy and when I called company they gave me specs which are lower than factory and claimed done to make cars run cooler, funny I never had overheating issues with stockers and now my truck runs too cool.....only change was fan clutch. bottom line: if it works for great and i say go for it. my 2 cents only...good luck to all

The new Schweitzer Fan Clutch is available from any vendor. Give anybody a call and ask for the Schweitzer Clutch. If they ask what you are talking about just hang up and call another.

Fan clutch does not regulate engine temp, that's the job of the thermostat. Fan clutch is controlled by incoming air from radiator, which is normally cooler than engine coolant-if-the radiator is working properly.

I brought America's finest fan clutch and note that Its works just fine as far as engine temp goes, Fan clutch roar is not heard during driving. as Far as judging goes there is a configuration issue so expect a deduct for this, its a 1 point deduct.
