Hello, I am helping a friend replace the front brake calipers on his 1966 power brake coupe. While attaching the bleeder to the master cylinder, I noticed that the brake line to the front brakes goes to the front port in the master cylinder and the rear brake line is attached to the rear. Is this the correct position of these lines for this application? I thought that the front brakes were controlled by the rear section of the master cylinder? Again thank you for any and all help. John

Re: 1966 Brake lines
Looking in the AIM at the J50 power brake options, it looks like the front brake line is connected to the front master cylinder reservoir. The AIM page is UPC J50 sheet A1.

Re: 1966 Brake lines
Hello Donald, Thank you so much for your response. Every picture I saw shows the same as shown in the AIM. I have already completed the caliper replacement, bled the system, and road tested. All is good, but I just thought to recheck with the experts. Thanks again, John- Top
