    Whereabouts of almond/fawn 1962 fuelie

The cover article in the August/September 1976 Corvette News was about a frame-off restoration of an almond/fawn 62 fuelie. That article was a huge eye-opener to me. I had owned my 62 for a year and a half, and had no idea what parts he had hanging from the clothesline where he had painted them.
Does anyone know the whereabouts of that car now? In a collection? Painted red somewhere?
    Thanks!

I remember that car. I also remember that the restoration pictures looked like the car had previously been red rather than Almond Beige. I could be wrong though. There has been a lot of water under the bidge since then.

      Dan,
I was told years ago that the red shell was a donor car and that he used the best parts from each. Don't know how true that was. Guy's name was Ed Wagner, as I recall.
