1956 & 1957 Corvettes
The first Corvette I ever drove on the street was a 56 or 57 (he had both years ) They were owned by George Malonis who lived in East St. Louis , Il . I worked with him for a few months at a GM dealer around 1969 . If anyone has one of his cars I have a little info .

Sorry Mike ,I was about 19 years old at the time I have no idea what the vins were . He was a bodyman and I was a apprentice . We lived close . He had I think the 57 that was grey primer and somebody gave him the 56 as payment for painting another car . Both were grey primer ( he never finished anything) .I remember at least one had the cowl vent filled in . Neither one had the original engine .He painted allot of cars for the local drag racers in St Louis and East St Louis .I dont remember anything else about the cars other than he owned them at least in 1969 & 1970.Comment
