In memory of Greta Garbo

Greta RedHatter.jpgMy 13 year old 1.5 pound yorkie, Greta Garbo died recently and I was to sad to attend Frisco.
I know you dog, and some cat, lovers share my sadness. She won 15 dog shows and attended
many NCRS events with Dianna and me. Thanks to Vinnie for the nice post of vettes at Frisco.

Sorry for the loss of the member of your family. We all have suffered a tragic loss of one of our (pets) family members. I lost *****ss and Bo among others. Don't think I'm going there again.

The loss of a loved one is a tough gig. There will come a day, when you think of Greta, you will get a grin on your head, instead of a tear in your eye. Until then, hang in there.

This is "Cutter" my Norwegian Elkhound and "his" 66 big block Corvette --- he loved that old car as much or more than I did.....he has been gone a long time but I still remember him and "his" car---- for him the 66 was his way to get to Cold-stone Creamery for frozen yogurt!!! He guarded his Corvette fiercely if anyone came too close to it!!!!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I know what your going through. We still haven't gotten over the loss of our springer spaniel "Pepper, we had to sadly put her down three days before Christmas last yearShe lived a great long life, she was 16 years old. I still think I hear her tags jingling on her collar like they did when she ran through the house. It appears by your dogs name that you guys are Greta Garbo fans, I too am a fan and love all her old movies. If you get the chance check out the Van Morrison song, "Just Like Greta" on you tube. It's a great song, and great video of her.

George, sorry to hear of Greta's passing. She was a great dog. Lost my 15 year old cat Pepper a couple years ago and still see him out of the corner of my eye once in awhile. Take care my friend.

Sorry to hear this, George and Dianna. We enjoyed having her at the chapter meet with you last fall. Dick and I have lost many pets over the years and they truly are like our children. Just about a year ago, we lost the 18-year-old terrier who used to eagerly jump in the truck every morning to ride with him to the farm. She is buried back of the garage.

My sincere condolence on your loss ,my Pomeranian fOXY is with me 24/7 they are amazing companions!! to share something, I recently was talking with someone and he told me he recently lost his Lab and never cried so much in his life having recently lost his mother etc . and he asked me do you know why that is... Because the dogs are PERFECT all the time. JIM C

Very sorry to hear of your loss, George. Lost my german shepherd, Portia, a couple of years ago. She was the only one in the family to get up the couch/floor to greet me at the door when I arrived home. Maybe that's why I miss her every day.
