The load-in got underway this morning, cars are moving in fast, and they are mostly beating the rain. Lots of very nice cars, and many '67s.

Re: Lone Star Regional about to start
Franks's car? Absolutely stunning restoration. Frank is the most passionate restorer I have ever encountered and along with his brother and his son have done some remarkable work on so many Corvettes and Classics. You should see the '33 Packard(just got a high Pebble Beach award), and the '59 Cadillac Frank's son Frankie just completed.....OMG. My jaw drops every time I visit their shop or see Frank's cars at his home.
Frank's attention to detail with respect to this '67 is second to none. I myself have learned so much from him and feel very fortunate to have become friends with him and live nearby his shop and his home.
.... along the way..... I don't have one of the finished car. I was at his house last week but didn't take one of the full view.

Michael please take some shots of Frank's car and ALL of the cars there for us all to see when you get a chance.
Thanks,

Re: Lone Star Regional about to start
Frank is a great restorer. I have seen several of his high scoring cars. I was simply joking saying the picture only showed the front fender. I would like to see more of the car because I have the same car minus the side pipes.Last edited by Keith B.; October 24, 2015, 09:53 AM.Keith Burmeister- Top

Re: Lone Star Regional about to start
I'll be back out there in an hour. When I leave, I'll post some pics. I ended up not bring mine this year because of all the rain (8" so far, with much more coming). I've been teased more than once reminding me that my car is made of fiberglass not sugar and it wouldn't have meltedI couldn't secure an enclosed trailer in time and there was no way I was going to expose the under carriage to road grime.
