    1965 hard top bolts

I have what I think are the original hardtop bolts from my 65 and I have some new hardtop bolts from long island . The original ??? bolts have a heavy base washer and a shorter hex head than the new bolts .The new bolts have a thin base and a noticeable taller hex head . Are the short ones correct for a 65 and and were the longer ones correct for any other years ?

Only one bolt was used from 1956 through 1975-------GM #3727973. Could this bolt have changed in minor ways over time? I'd say it's possible.

Harry all 4 are on the deck , the ones on the top dont look like the others . The ones on the sides are what I'm looking at .

Sorry, but I'll go with Harry on this - and the part # for the side bolt are different from those on the deck - normally the deck bolts with the hollowed centers are harder to find.

Yes, the side bolts are different from the deck bolts. In my first post here I was referring only to the side bolts since I assumed that's what the question was about.

The deck bolt was GM #3837282 and was discontinued in 1980.

Loren & Joe . The side bolts are the hex heads the top bolts have a round head on a 65 . On my 62 all 4 are the hex head .

my car was a hardtop only car when I acquired it in 1970 and the side bolts you describe match what I have (yes I realize these could have been changed by original owner during the 5 years he had the car) have not seen the LI parts just fyi I added soft top many years ago and never use hardtop

The 3837282 was not used on C1. In fact, it did not even exist then.

Assorted parts for the (top rear) deck bolts. On 2nd pic, I may have the wrong washer under the bolt head
