help on 64' coupe

want to paint a section of a 64' air cleaner base, the color is gloss black but does corvette have a paint code etc for the air cleaner base. What is the best way of matching the color. HELP is appreciated. Thanks

John, believe the air cleaner was painted by supplier, AC. I've used and like quantas gloss black, seems to age and look good as time passes. Don't get too glossy, sure AC didn't.

John, I would try a semi gloss test panel and gloss to see which matches the best, sometimes with the semi gloss a light polishing compound will give you the look you want.
