New (not rebuilt) steering box for C2 corvette

I'm interested in feedback from anyone that has installed a "new" steering box (16:1 ratio)? How do they perform? Do they require adjustment prior to installation and/or initial readjustment after a limited number of miles of usage? Good product? Improvement over the original box? Better than a OEM box rebuild? No issues this using with power steering?
