John, occasionally you'll see a original ac base on eBay or other I think there pretty rare Long Island has nice repros but there pricey around $325.

Dave, thanks for info. Will keep looking for a ORIGINAL. repros run from $325 TO $400 and believe me there is a difference. Thanks again.

Are you talking for a base or 300hp engine, with the offset nozzles ? Just curious.

Wayne, I believe the base and 300 hp engine used the same C60 air cleaner. Same as 65.

The 63 base and 300 hp C60 air cleaners were the same but they were different than 64 and 65.

Wayne, 64' base engine, with offset (metal tabs) nozzles. There were only 1,988 cars in 64' with a/c. It is my understanding that in 64' only the base engine and 300 hp car had these air cleaner bases. Looking for a original base. I would think they are rare - correct.?.

63 air cleaner bases have a crank case vent in the front and 64 / 65 bases have the crank case vent at the rear of the base. The 63 will not work on a 64 without some modification.
